Page Charges
The Society of Nematologists assesses a charge per printed page or portion thereof from all authors to offset the publishing costs ($80.00/page SON members, $120.00/page non-members). Authors are billed after their manuscripts are published.
In cases where funds are genuinely not available to pay the page charges for accepted manuscripts, the EiC may partially or fully waive those charges. Authors should provide documented evidence of unavailability of funds.
Offprints and Eprints
No free copies are provided. A price quotation and a JON Page Charge/Copyright Form (.pdf) for offprints (extra copies printed at the time of the original printing) will be sent with the page proofs. Alternatively, authors may request an "eprint," which is an electronic copy of the manuscript as a PDF file.
